Portal port cranes are mainly used for loading and unloading outdoor cargo yards, storage yards, and bulk cargo, with metal structures resembling portal frames. Two legs are installed below the load-bearing main beam, which can walk directly on the ground track. There can be cantilever beams at both ends of the main beam.
The new gantry crane is divided into two types:
Single chain door port crane is a type of lifting machinery specially used in ports, docks, and shipyards. It has a small investment and is used for loading and unloading containers, miscellaneous items, and bulk cargo on the apron before loading and unloading.
